Which disney hotel has the best kid pool? I know there is princess tea parties for little girls, what would you moms suggest for a four year old little boy that would be comparable? How can I find a comparison between May and June busy days? Thank you

    Hi, Natalie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First off, I have to say that all of the Walt Disney World resort hotels have amazing pools for kids, but my personal favorites are the Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

The Big Blue Pool is the single largest of all the resort hotel pools and is surrounded by impressively sized sculptures of all your favorite Finding Nemo characters. The expansive Schoolyard Sprayground water play area is a big hit with younger kids. The Big Blue Pool also features tunes which can be heard underwater and a zero-depth entry perfect for younger guests.

Stormalong Bay, shared by the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, covers three acres and is very much like a smaller version of a water park: this complex features a large pool, a winding lazy river, a shallow sandbar (where kids can build sandcastles and scoop sand into their buckets), whirlpools, waterfalls and arched bridges. The pirate shipwreck water slide is one of the longest at any Disney resort pool. There is also a kiddie pool area and a smaller water slide for little ones who may not be quite ready to brave the shipwreck slide.

I can recommend two very magical experiences for your four-year-old boy! How about being transformed into a pirate at The Pirates League (located in Magic Kingdom park)? Or embarking on one of the Pirate Adventure Cruises which shove off from several Disney resort hotel marinas? Simply call 407-WDW-CREW to make a reservation for The Pirates League and 407-WDW-PLAY for the Pirate Adventure Cruise.
