Hiya Veronica!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question for us.
I’m so glad that you’re thinking about watching the fireworks spectaculars during your upcoming vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth! In fact, I’m incredibly excited as you will find my favorite show lighting up the sky during both of your dates!
Happily Ever After at
Magic Kingdom Park will go off with a bang during both the 19th and 20th, weather permitting, and that’s absolutely wonderful news, as September 29th is the last night of this incredibly magical production. This show's heartwarming message about following one's dreams is near to my heart, and I do hope you get to experience it before it’s gone.
Another fireworks spectacular that is also leaving us, specifically on September 28th, is
EPCOT Forever, which you will find at, you guessed it;
EPCOT! The dazzling display of flying colors goes off with a bang as it celebrates the theme park! This show is also available, weather permitting, both nights of your visit! I would recommend prioritizing and watching Happily Ever After during the first evening and then EPCOT Forever the next.
Do be sure to check the hours of the shows; you will want to carve out some time beforehand to find your spot as Guests start to find a seat an hour to an hour and a half before the show begins. What I like to do is grab a snack or meal from a nearby restaurant, such as
Casey’s Corner at Magic Kingdom Park, and then sit and enjoy my meal as we wait for the show to begin.
Since you have theme park tickets with the park hopper option, do be sure to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations for the first theme park of the day. For instance, if you're beginning your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, and then park hopping to Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 2 PM and ending your evening there to watch the fireworks, you would only need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for Animal Kingdom Park, as the second theme park does not require a reservation.
I hope you have the sparkliest of nights during your visit, Veronica!
