We will be in Disney for the Holidays, my mom is 70 and eventually she will need a wheelchair and we need strollers for our kids, its a very busy time at the parks, is there a way to reserve a electrical wheelchair and strollers in advance?

    Hi Karla,

There is no way to reserve Disney strollers, wheelchairs or ECVs in advance.

Yours is a situation where I would strongly recommend that you rent these items from an outside company. First, the outside agency rentals are typically less expensive than the Disney rentals. But more importantly, you can use the outside rentals at places other than the theme parks. You'll definitely want to be able to use your mobility devices at your resort, at Downtown Disney, and other locations.

A few quick Google searches will bring up many rental options. Moms Panelists have had good stroller rental luck with orlandostrollerrentals.com and have had good wheelchair experiences with walkermobility.com and buenavistascooters.com.

These places will all deliver the rented items to your hotel prior to your arrival and will pick them up when you leave. Easy peasy.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
