Hiya Frederic,
Welcome to planDisney. It won't be long now until you are on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. October is such a fun month to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. Not only will you be able to enjoy the fall decorations, but you will also be there in time to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Be sure to plan time to wander around World Showcase Lagoon and try the culinary delights offered from six continents. Delicious!
One of the most popular Halloween events is
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This special ticket takes place at Magic Kingdom on select evenings with the final party night being Halloween evening. Unfortunately the event is sold out for the remainder of this season, so if you have not purchased your ticket, you will need to take your happy haunts elsewhere to celebrate. Hakuna Matata! There are some great choices however. If you have
theme park reservations for Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would suggest trying to grab advanced dining reservations at Hollywood & Vine which transforms into Minnie's Halloween Dine for the spooky holiday. Super cute interaction with the characters, plus a great buffet meal!
Another great place to visit on Halloween is
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You will find many Guests that return annually to decorate their campsites and spread Halloween chEAR. The decorations are fantastic and the day often includes a parade of decorated golf carts. Times and events are subject to change, so I would ask a Cast Member to confirm before heading over to the resort so you do not miss any of the fun. One of our favorite things to do on Halloween is visit
Disney Springs. You will find great live entertainment and plenty of Halloween treats and merchandise. While there are no specific events announced for the
Disney Resorts, be sure to check with the Cast Members at your resort as most will have their own scheduled events. This often includes things like costume parades, crafts and a spirited movie night.
I hope this information helps you find all treats and no tricks! If I can provide any additional planning information, please stop back and
see me.
Wishing you a bootiful trip,
Margaret
