Hi Linda, and welcome to planDisney! A family day at the Disneyland Resort is always something to look forward to, and I completely understand your desire to make the most of your visit. Since you’d like to have a Disney Guide service, I’m glad to walk you through how to set that up.
At Disneyland, this experience is called a
VIP Tour. These tours are led by a knowledgeable Disney Cast Member who becomes your group’s guide for the day, almost like a personal host. With their help, you can create a customized plan that highlights your favorite attractions, entertainment, and dining. They’ll even help with restaurant reservations, making your day feel seamless from beginning to end. To reserve your tour, you can either send an email to DisneylandVIPTours@disney.com or call the VIP Tour office directly at (714) 300-7710. The team there will provide the latest pricing and availability details. Each tour runs a minimum of seven hours and can last up to ten hours.
One of my fellow panelists,
Carrie, shared that the best part of her family’s VIP Tour was hearing the insider details and fun Disney stories their guide shared along the way. A few quick reminders as you plan: park admission isn’t included in the tour cost, but once you secure your reservation, the parks will take care of making theme park reservations for you and your group. Also, the tour does involve a fair bit of walking, so comfy shoes are a must. Complimentary strollers and wheelchairs may be available as well.
If you are looking for other ways to skip the lines during your visit, you may also want to consider the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. With this option, you can secure return times for select attractions directly through the
Disneyland app. Prices begin at $32 per person per day (subject to change). My family has used it to enjoy Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain while still leaving time for a cozy meal at Carnation Café.
However you choose to structure your day, Linda, your visit is sure to be filled with Disney magic. Wishing you a wonderful time making memories together!
Happy adventuring,
David
