    Is disney still giving a gift card if your opt out of mouse keeping? Just wondering. We will be arriving in October. Thanks, Evie

    Hey there, Evie!

    You will be in for an extra magical time when you join Mickey Mouse and pals for the 50th-anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort!

    Evie, you are referring to the "Service Your Way" which allowed you to decline housekeeping services in exchange for an e-gift card. 

    At this time this option is not available. Instead, new health and safety protocols have been established for resort housekeeping that focuses on an enhanced cleaning before you check in together with a light touch-up every other day. You may still decline your every-other day service, however gift cards are no longer provided.
