    Does Disney give a military discount for 2019 and if so, what is it. My husband served in the Army as a paratrooper and has never been to Disney. He suffered a brain tumor In June of 2018 and would lov3 for him to experience Disney.

    I'm so glad you stopped by to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are a military family as well; we offer a word of thanks to both you and your family member from ours for their service and sacrifice in the line of duty.

    Disney does offer discounts on Military Promotional Tickets for active duty military as well as retired military members with appropriate identification. Select hotel rooms are also discounted for military members. If your husband separated from the military and does not have valid military identification, I'm sorry to say that he does not qualify for these discounts.

    I hope when you come visit that you will stop and see one of my favorite events while you're visiting the Magic Kingdom.  At 5 o'clock in the afternoon on Main Street, U.S.A., the Flag Retreat ceremony is held. The Star Spangled Banner is played as the flag is brought down and folded for all to see. My favorite part is when the flag is presented to a military veteran that was chosen earlier in the day; watching them parade down Main Street, U.S.A. is truly a special moment. I rarely walk away with dry eyes. I hope you can experience this special moment with your veteran during your trip.
