Hi Kathi, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney! My family’s
PhotoPass pictures are our favorite Disney souvenirs. I have many of them rotating in a digital picture frame at home and they always remind me of the special memories we made together.
Now, let’s talk about how to use the gift cards you have and secure your pictures! If you’re purchasing PhotoPass products on the Disney World website, like
Memory Maker, generally the system will only let you use one Disney gift card per transaction. If your balance is less than the total price, it’ll allow you to use a credit card for the remainder. However, you can combine multiple gift cards through the
Disney Gift Card website, up to $1,000 per card, and then make your photo purchase.
It does work differently in person, like at the
PhotoPass Studio in
Disney Springs. In my experience, you can use multiple gift cards when you’re purchasing pictures here. However, I’d still recommend adding your gift cards to the Disney Gift Card website as a backup. If you lose a gift card on vacation, you'll be able to quickly transfer the balance to a different card through the website.
If you’re purchasing Memory Maker, I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss
PhotoPass Video Memories, an easy way to share your favorite pictures and videos with family and friends, or on social media. Just open the
My Disney Experience app, scroll down to the PhotoPass Video Memories section, and press the Create Video Memory button. Here you can choose a template and then pick the pictures and videos you’d like to include. The clip can be customized as little or as much as you want.
I hope this helps you get access to those precious vacation photos! If you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
