Can Disney gift cards be used on Disney cruises in the lounges for alcoholic beverages?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jacqueline!

I am thrilled to hEAR you are starting your packing list and will be sailing with Captain Minnie next year!

You can use your Disney gift card on any of the Disney Cruise Line ships.  While onboard, you can use your gift card for purchases in any of the merchandise shops.

Beverage purchases in the lounge are always charged directly to your stateroom.  You can use your gift card in the lounges to order alcoholic beverages by applying the gift card balance to your stateroom account.  It is also possible to use your gift card towards any services in Senses Spa and Salon or dining at the adults exclusive dining room Palo, as these additional fees are also charged directly to your guest folio.

Beverage packages available through Disney Cruise Line's In-Room Gifts and Shopping can also be charged to your stateroom account and the balance paid for with your gift card.

To apply the gift card balance to your stateroom account, you can contact Disney Cruise Line prior to your sailing date or visit the Guest Services Desk (Deck 3, Midship) once onboard.

Enjoy planning for your high seas adventure!  Bon voyage!  Angie
