Ahoy, Amanda!
Welcome aboard! Your magical voyage with Mickey is only about two months away! Hooray! Soon your countdown will be over, and you'll be enjoying
all a Disney Cruise Line vacation has to offer. I know you can't wait.
Amanda, I'm glad you asked this question because I always use
Disney Gift Cards to pay for my magical extras onboard. They are accepted in the
merchandise shops for souvenirs and at Guest Services if you'd like to pay for Port Adventures, specialty beverages, adult dining, spa treatments, and any other onboard services. You can drop by Guest Services at the beginning of the sailing, and the Disney Gift Cards will be applied to your stateroom account. I always hold on to the original cards because any unused amount can be put back on the cards before you disembark. The line for Guest Services can be long the last night of the cruise, so I always suggest visiting early.
One of my favorite tips when using Disney Gift Cards is to combine all your Disney Gift Cards together. Up to $1000.00 can be placed per card on the Disney Gift Card website once you create an account. You can make the first card your "primary card" and then add the other gift card amounts to it.
We are so glad you stopped by with your question, Amanda. Please let us know if you think of anything else before you are sailing away with Disney Cruise Line!
Have a WONDERful day!
Nancy
