Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!
Disney Gift Cards are a convenient way to budget and pay for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I pick up Disney Gift Cards from time to time when shopping for household essentials, and tuck them away to use during my vacation. When I find Disney Gift Cards at a discount, such as at warehouse clubs or with a Target RedCard, those extra savings translate into extra
Dole Whips!
A Disney Gift Card will work in the same way as other gift cards you may have used at local retailers or restaurants. If your purchase amount is less than the balance on the gift card, the remaining funds will stay on the card to be used at another time. In this example, if you used a $500 gift card for a
ticket purchase of $360, you would have $140 remaining on the card.
Disney Gift Cards are accepted just about everywhere at Walt Disney World Resort, so you could use the balance to pay for meals and snacks,
theme park parking, vacation essentials such as
Mickey Ears, or those refreshing Dole Whips. When using your Disney Gift Card at point-of-sale locations, the remaining balance will be shown on your receipt to help you keep track of your funds.
James, if you have any additional questions as you
plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, please stop by the Moms Panel again anytime. We are always happy to help. Enjoy your visit!
