    Can you use Disney Gift Cards to pay for gratuity at restaurants if you are on the dining plan? Is there anything that you can't use the gifts cards for?

    Hi Tammy!    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to receive Disney gift cards for any occasion.  They are a fantastic way  to help pay for the "extras" that pop up on Disney trips, including restaurant gratuities.  

    I have found that with the new Magic Bands the easiest way to use my gift cards is to charge the gratuity to my resort room, and at the end of each day before I head in for the night, I settle my tab using my gift cards with one of the cast members at the front desk.
