    Can you use Disney gift cards to pay your bill

    Laurie, welcome aboard! You must have a magical sailing coming up soon with Disney Cruise Line! I have great news to answer your question. The answer is yes! You can definitely use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your cruise before you sail, to add credit to your stateroom account for spending onboard and even in the gift shops onboard the ship. 

    My family and I like to pay for as much of our cruise as we can with Disney Gift Cards because I've found a great way to save a few dollars! If you have a local grocery store that offers fuel rewards (cents off per gallon of gas) for purchasing gift cards, buy your Disney Gift Cards there! We purchase ours at Kroger, a few a month, to pay for our trips. We save money on gas for our car which we need anyway, and pay for our cruise at the same time!

    You can call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 to pay with Disney Gift Cards. I believe there is a limit of crediting up to 10 gift cards to your account per day, though that is subject to change. If you have more than that to use, just call back another day and add the rest. 

    Once you're onboard, if you have additional gift cards you'd like to spend, simply take them to Guest Services where they can credit your stateroom account. Save those gift cards that you've used at Guest Services though, because come the last night of your sailing, if you still have unused credit, they can put that back on one of your Disney Gift Cards for you.
