Hello! Can we use Disney Gift cards. a debit card and / or a Travel Vise card through AAA as our credit card on file for extra expenses on the Disney Dream?

Welcome aboard, Dwight! It's so nice to see another fellow Ohioan getting ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line. I see from your previous question that you'll be heading out to sea this winter. What a perfect time to escape the cold (and probably snow!) in Ohio and head south to the warm waters of the Caribbean and Bahamas!

Disney Gift Cards are able to be used both in paying for your cruise before you set sail and adding money to your stateroom account. They can also be used in the gift shops onboard the ship. Other than that, the ship is cashless, so you won't need to carry money or cards as you explore the ship each day. Your Key To The World Card serves as your charge card and stateroom key, which means you'll always have it with you. The credit card you put on file will be charged at the end of the sailing. If you do have Disney Gift Cards you'd like to use toward expenses on the ship that are charged to your stateroom account (Port Adventures, specialty drinks, Spa Treatments, etc...), simply stop down to Guest Services with your gift cards. They will be happy to put those as credits on your account. Do save those gift cards until the end of the cruise, though. We've had a few times when we have added more credit than we've actually used. So, they simply put the remaining credit back onto one of the cards we had saved on the last day.

You might consider purchasing your Disney Gift Cards at Kroger. My family does this for months before we sail because Kroger offers double (sometimes even triple or quadruple) fuel points for gift card purchases. I like to say I'm making my own Disney Cruise discount. Well, it really isn't a discount on the cruise, but by simply setting aside money ahead of time on Disney Gift Cards, I rack up fuel rewards so that we can fill up our cars with discounts. Sometimes I've even saved an entire dollar per gallon off on our fill ups! Not bad! That means we have more money to spend on the ship!

Have fun as you plan, Dwight!
