Jambo, Jenny.
It sounds like you’ve got a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth on the horizon. I bet you can’t wait to be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. with a churro in hand and Cinderella Castle in your view. Hooray!
You’ll be happy to know that
Disney Gift Cards are indeed accepted at most locations on property, including
Disney Resorts Collection hotels,
dining locations, snack carts, merchandise locations, and more. Occasionally, there are places they aren’t accepted (mostly in
Disney Springs), but that is quite rare. My husband and I always purchase enough Disney Gift Cards to pay for the entirety of our trips, and we’ve never had any issues using them to pay.
I suggest you set up an account on the
Disney Gift Card website ahead of time and consolidate your smaller denomination gift cards onto a Disney Gift Card together (up to $1,000). You can store the details of up to six gift cards in your account for safekeeping, which allows you to easily transfer the balance from one stored card to another should you lose any of them during your vacation.
Jenny, I hope this information proves useful. If you think of any other questions we can help with before you set off on your magical vacation, don’t hesitate to stop by and let us know. We’re all EARs and happy to help!
Until next time,
Alyssa
