    Can Disney gift card be used towards paying resort bill?

    Hi Mary!

    I love picking up Disney Gift Cards throughout the year to use toward my family's vacation expenses.  Retailers sometimes offer special savings on the cards, especially around the holidays, and if I spread out the purchases it helps with my budgeting.  Since the cards can be used just like cash for almost everything at Walt Disney World, you can use them to make payments toward your vacation package, resort bill, incidentals you charge back to your room, items you pick up when you're out in the parks and more.  If you make a purchase with a Disney Gift Card, just be sure to hang onto the original card in case you need to make a return - the refunded amount will be put back on that original card, so you'll want to have it on hand in case that happens.
