I have a Disney gift card can that be used to purchase tickets to the parks?

    Hiya Ty!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I think it’s fantastic that you are racking up Disney Gift Cards for your upcoming vacation, I have been a budgeter since I was a kiddo, and nothing makes me happier than knowing I have all the prepaid savings I need for the fun stuff!

Walt Disney World accepts multiple forms of payment at all four Theme Parks, Resorts, Disney Springs, and Water Parks. So go ahead and use your Disney Gift Cards to pay for your tickets! Other acceptable forms of payment include, but are not limited to, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit Cards, and cash. If you are a lucky Disney Visa Cardholder, be prepared to save on dining, merchandise, and select experiences. Make sure to have your Disney Visa Card with you to receive your exclusive savings.

At dining locations, feel free to leave tips in cash or with your card bill. Whichever is more comfortable for you. Honestly, we don’t carry much cash when we are in the Parks. If you are a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you can link your MagicBand to a credit card and use that throughout your vacation. It’s made traveling so much simpler!

Ty, regardless of your preferred method of payment, I know your tickets are the entry to a Magical vacation!
