Hey there, Karen! Welcome back to planDisney!
Restaurants in Walt Disney World are one of my favorite things to talk about. I absolutely love to try new snacks, drinks, and restaurants on each of my visits back “home”.
I am also a big fan of budgeting my trips using Disney gift cards. I typically have a couple of cards that I have combined small amounts onto on the
Disney Gift Card website, since the maximum on any card is $1000. Then, I use these cards to pay for all of my treats throughout my vacation. I have never had an issue using a gift card in a restaurant on the Walt Disney World property.
The one place I have sometimes had a little difficulty is a snack cart. It seems like those registers are often offline, and a gift card doesn’t always go through. So, I do have charging privileges on my MagicBand or a credit card in my bag for these instances.
When thinking about restaurants around Walt Disney World, might I recommend trying
Narcoosee’s for a lovely dinner? This is a signature dining restaurant, so there is a dress code, and the food is the best I’ve had in WDW. I also love Olivia’s Café for a delightful breakfast or affordable dinner. I have never had a bad meal here.
I hope this helps with planning for your next trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Happy Eating,
Tracy
