Hello there, Alyssa!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing your question to us! It looks like you have an upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort and I'm excited for you to see the Parks all decked out for the Holidays. It's honestly one of the most beautiful times to visit. Planning for the
Holiday Season is a year-round event and the
Cast Members really do an impressive job of decorating every nook and cranny of the Parks!
To answer your question, unfortunately, there is no way to utilize a Disney Gift Card online as a form of payment for
Magic Key renewals at this time. The only way to do so would be in person at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths just outside the Parks. Since you have a visit coming up, I would recommend making a stop at the Ticket Booth at some point to renew your
Magic Key Pass. You are eligible to renew your Magic Key up to 30 days before the expiration date. Don't let that Pass expire because late renewals are not allowed and sales of new Magic Keys have been on hiatus for the time being.
I hope you've been enjoying your Magic Key Pass and all the benefits and
discounts that come along with it. I'm a Magic Key Holder as well and have loved being able to return to the Magic of the Parks throughout the year. In fact, I just took my sister's family for a leisurely lunch at the
Magic Key Terrace and they commented how secluded it felt despite being in the middle of Disney California Adventure. Be sure to follow the official
Magic Key Instagram page as well for all the latest news!
Alyssa, I hope that this was helpful for you and I'm sorry if it adds another step to your Park visit. I hope everything works out and, if you find that you have to place your payment on a credit card, know that Disney Gift Cards don't expire, so you can always save them for the future. If there is anything else you need from us, please feel free to write back anytime. You're always welcome at planDisney!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
