Can you use a Disney Gift Card to pay for tips if you have the Dining Plan? And not use your Magic Band that is link to a Credit Card.

    Hi Anne,

Yes, you can use Disney Gift Cards to pay for tips at Disney restaurants. You could also use cash, credit cards, debit cards, or Disney Dollars. Many guests choose to use Disney Gift Cards to help them keep close track of expenses or to stick to a specified budget.

You should know that you don't ever have to use your Magic Band to pay for items in the Disney Parks and resorts. Many guests do choose to link a credit card to their Band so that they can pay for items on the parks with the Band, but you are under no obligation to do this. If you prefer to pay for merchandise and food with Gift Cards, cash, credit cards, or debit cards, you're certainly welcome to do this.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
