    Can I use a Disney Gift Card to pay for a room at a Disney Springs hotel?

    Hi Kendle!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I also like using Disney Gift Cards to budget for my Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  I will sometimes purchase Disney Gift Cards at a slight discount at a warehouse club, or periodically pick up Disney Gift Cards with my weekly groceries and sock them away for a future trip.  Did you know, you can combine the balances of multiple cards on the Disney Gift Card website?  Simply select "Manage Cards" and then "Transfer Balance".

    Disney Gift Cards may be used to pay for a room at a Disney Resort Hotel, but are not redeemable at non-Disney owned hotels, such as Disney Springs Area hotels.  (You may use Disney Gift Cards at Disney-owned merchandise locations within some hotels.)

    Those Disney Gift Cards can still be put to good use!  You may use your gift cards to pay for just about every other aspect of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  Disney Gift Cards may be used to purchase theme park tickets online or in person, for meals and snacks throughout the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Resort Hotels, and at merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  Almost all shops and restaurants at Disney Springs also accept Disney Gift Cards.
