What all can I use a Disney gift card to pay for? Can I pay for my hotel (All-Star Sports)? What about food at the hotel? Food at the parks?

Hi Heather! Thanks for stopping by with your question about Disney Gift Cards! Helping you figure out all the details of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is our favorite thing to do here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Think of your Disney Gift Cards as magical currency when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort. You can use them to pay for Disney Resort hotel stays, meals in the theme parks and at your hotel, and merchandise. What I like to do when booking a stay at a Disney Resort hotel, is call (407) 939-5277 to speak to a Resort Reservation Cast Member. I book my stay with them over the phone and use whatever additional amount on my Disney Gift Cards to leave a surplus on my account. This extra amount can go toward any purchases you make with your MagicBand during your adventures at the theme parks!

Heather, you can absolutely use the gift card to pay for anything at the theme parks. I just like the convenience of the quick tap and pin entry when you use a MagicBand.

    Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
is a fun place to stay! It’s a great value that gives you all the benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest and some great recreation. During your stay, you might want to catch a Movie Under the Stars on the football field. Cast Members will be happy to give you a schedule of the movies playing during your stay when you check in.

I hope this information is helpful! Come back to see us soon!
