Can I use Disney gift card to pay for Disneyland Hotel DVC transient taxes when we have a stay there?

To all who come to planDisney, welcome! We're so glad you're here to ask this question, Carmel. Oh boy! A visit to the Disneyland Resort is in your future and I'm delighted to help you prepare.

I love staying in the Disney bubble at a Disneyland Resort hotel whenever I can. It's even better when I can use my Disney Vacation Club Membership to stay at one of my Home Resorts. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel are gorgeous and I'm so excited to hear that you will be staying here.

I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who shared that you can absolutely use a Disney Gift Card to pay for the Transient Occupancy Tax. You can visit the front desk located in the Fantasy Tower to complete payment. Just be sure to do this before 11:00 a.m. on your check-out day.

I love staying at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel. You're fully immersed in the magic of storytelling and all of the details in the tower are absolutely dreamy (hello, headboard). Be sure to take a close look at the mural in the lobby - you might just spot a hidden Mickey or two. I also love taking advantage of the Early Entry benefit to maximize my park days.

Carmel, I hope this helps as you are getting ready for your magical visit. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that you might be curious about. I wish you continued happy planning and a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Welcome home!
