Can I use Disney Gift Card to pay deposit for a placeholder cruise?

    Ahoy, Bella!

While on a Disney Cruise, you can use a Disney Gift Card to pay for nearly everything. Simply head to the Guest Services desk to "load" the gift cards onto your account. You can check as often as you like to see what the balance is on your onboard account, and add more gift cards if necessary. We have even used Disney Gift Cards to pay for our entire Disney Cruise Line vacation!

Unfortunately, the future cruise sales desk is one of the only places onboard where you cannot use a Disney Gift Card. If you plan to book a placeholder cruise, you will need to put the small deposit onto a major credit card.

I hope you have a magical cruise vacation! Please come back and visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions before you set sail!

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

Meet the Panelist: Tracy, Illinois

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
