Can I use my Disney gift card to pay for our character breakfast?

Hi, Emma! Thanks so much for bringing us another great question! Disney Gift Cards can be used in so many places all across Walt Disney World Resort. I have used them for years as an easy way to budget for our trips. At least once a month, I stop by one of our local stores that sells them or hop online and purchase one.

I have a great tip to share with you so that you do not wind up with a wallet packed full of them. Head to the Disney Gift Card website and register each of your cards. You can transfer funds between cards to make purchases easier, consolidating them to just one card. I believe there is still a limit on how much can be on a single card, which was around $1000 when I last did it. Consolidating the cards helps me keep track of them, lessening my chances of losing them! As long as you keep your active cards listed on that website, you can quickly hop on there and transfer the funds just in case you do lose one.

Disney Gift Card is accepted at most dining locations across Walt Disney World Resort, including character breakfasts. I am not sure which meal you are attending, but if it is at a Disney owned and operated location, then you should be fine. If in doubt, just speak with the Cast Member upon arrival for more information.

I hope this information helps you plan for a delicious morning with Disney friends! Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
