Can you use a disney gift card to order food (the skip the line feature like at Caseys Corner) on the disney app?

Hello there, Matt! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by and allowing us to answer your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Walt Disney World Resort is truly moving into the future with many of the technological advances they’ve recently begun offering Guests! The My Disney Experience app has got to be one of the most useful updates of all! This mobile app allows you to manage and share information about your vacation right from your phone. This means you can create custom itineraries for your trip and share them with other members of your party! That way everyone stays up-to-date when changes occur!

I’m all about food so my favorite part of the My Disney Experience app is the food options! I can make or alter advance dining reservations through the app even when visiting the parks. I’ve used this on multiple occasions when I needed to make quick changes to my planned meals!

Recently, mobile food and beverage ordering have been added to the My Disney Experience app as well! This allows Guests to order their food ahead of time and pay for it prior to arriving at select dining locations. While you won't be able to use Disney Gift Cards when using the mobile ordering feature, you can use either a credit card or the Disney Dining Plan!

Hopefully, this information will help save you time when dining at Walt Disney World Resort!
