    Can I use a Disney gift card for the initial down payment for a pixie pass over the phone? Or is it only in person at guest services?

    I’m glad you stopped by planDisney with your question, you’re as welcome as can be! You must be so excited about becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. As a fellow passholder, I can tell you that your visits to Walt Disney World Resort will be more magical than ever!

    Using a Disney Gift Card to begin your annual pass purchase is a great idea. I confirmed with a Cast Member that you may make your down payment for a Pixie Pass over the phone or in person at any ticket booth or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Mikayla, you may also use your Disney Gift Card to purchase your annual pass online. So, you have several options! Remember to save the gift card (either the physical card or the electronic card) until after you activate your annual pass at the parks.

    You will need to bring a copy of your ticket confirmation email or your ticket certificate along with a photo ID to any Walt Disney World theme park window or the Disney Ticket Center for redemption. Since you are purchasing a Florida resident annual pass, you will need to bring proof of Florida residency to activate your pass. 

    Mikayla, please check the Annual Passholder Admission Calendar for details on when the Pixie Dust Pass is eligible for theme park entry. Even on dates when the pass is not eligible for theme park entry, you can still take advantage of the select merchandise and dining discounts around Walt Disney World Resort outside the parks!
