Going to Disney 10/1-10/8 with free dining. 90 day mark is July 3rd. Meals at LeCelier, Mama Melroses, Ohana, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Donald's Safari Bkfst, Norway Princess Bkfst. What order do you recommend I try to make res.? Hard to easy.

    Hi Sean,

Great choices for your restaurants! Those are some of our favorites too. You can certainly try to make the reservations in the order of hard to easy, however I like to work the schedule just a little different. When staying at a Disney World resort, a guest is able to make dining reservations, at their ninety day mark, for up to ten days of their stay. For example, in your case, on your ninety day mark you will be able to make your reservations for your entire visit without having to call back.

Using this advantage, I always try and pick the restaurants that are the most popular and make those reservations first when I call, but I make them for the end of my vacation and work backwards. This way I have a slight advantage in trying to get Chef Mickey's for the end of my trip because some guests have not even reached their ninety day mark to call. Hope this makes sense. So using your travel dates I would try and start with October 7th when I get through and ask for Chef Mickey's or Akershus Princess breakfast (which are extremely popular). I then continue working backwards to the previous day and the next popular location.

This practice has worked well for us in the past. If your dining locations are important to you, be prepared to change your initial schedule to work around when you can get your reservations. Good luck with your plans and Bon Appetit!
