Hi I am going to Disney for the first time with my 3 year old . Daughter. What attractions would she enjoy the most at Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Bernie,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with my husband and our four children.  Our youngest (a daughter) is now almost nine but I remember her favorites over the last few years before she went wild for roller coasters and attractions that go fast and even upside down!

Here are my recommendations for your three-year-old: in Magic Kingdom Park our favorite for quite a long time was Under The Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.  We love to sing along and see the attraction that accompanies one of our favorite princesses, Ariel.  Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is always a great place to cool off and have a good laugh with the cast of Monsters, Inc. Bring a good joke for a chance of being featured in the show! My children have begged to visit Dumbo The Flying Elephant on more than one occasion, as it's almost two attractions in one! The waiting area has a lovely indoor play area and you wouldn't believe the moans of disappointment when we tell them it's time to fly with Dumbo.  There are so many attractions in the Magic Kingdom that do not have a height requirement, you can spend all day in the park and never ride the same attraction twice.

Disney's Hollywood Studios has only one attraction that does not have a height requirement-Toy Story Mania. This attraction is fantastic and I highly recommend immersing yourself in Andy's Room with all of his games for this fun little adventure.  There are some incredible shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios that I just love, though.  A must-do in my book is For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.  Hear the story of Frozen, hosted by some wonderful citizens of Arendelle, and sing along with clips from the movie. You wanna build a snowman, don't you?  Finally, Belle and the magical creatures of Beast's castle (including the Beast himself) come alive in Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage.

Bernie, your daughter is such a lucky girl to have her dad planning such a wonderful trip.  Please come and see us again with any additional planning questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
