We are going to disney for the first time on June 29th and staying until July 4th. This was a last minute trip and wanted to know which restaurants you would think would still be available. We have a party of 4, myself, dad, daughter 9 and son 7. Thanks

Hi, Kay!  Your best bet is going to be to call Disney World dining reservations to see if they have suggestions as to what may still be available.  The phone number there is 407-939-3463.  I can make some suggestions based on last minute successes I have had.

We have gone in person to Crystal Palace a few times and been able to get a reservation for the same day.  Check first thing in the morning, and see if they might have a last minute cancellation.

Restaurant Marrakesh at EPCOT has always been a last minute success for us.  It happens to be one of our favorite restaurants, so it works out well that we can usually find something available.

You might want to consider trying for a reservation at Sanaa, the new restaurant at Animal Kingdom Villas, or T-Rex, a newer restaurant in Downtown Disney.  It's possible that the word hasn't spread about these two new restaurants, so you might find some availability there.

We have had some luck getting a last minute table at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge, as well as at the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs resort.  I would check out other resort hotel restaurants, like The Wave at the Contemporary, to see what might be open.

Lastly, don't forget to inquire about some of the more popular restaurants.  You never know when a table might be open due to a cancellation, and you might luckily call at the right time.  Some of the more popular restaurants are Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, Le Cellier, and Cinderella's Royal Table.

There are plenty of good counter service options that do not need reservations, so if you don't find something at a table service location that will work for you, don't despair!

    Have a great vacation!
