We are going to Disney in FL in Feb (15th to 23rd) is it going to be warm enough to go to the water parks and enjoy the water? Or will it be too chilly?? My kids are really looking forward to Typhoon Lagoon so, I'm praying it's warm enough??

Hi Lisa! It's a safe bet that the weather at Walt Disney World in February will be a lot warmer than your home state of Massachusetts! I love escaping the winter blahs at home for a sunny Disney vacation!

Average high temperatures in February at Walt Disney World hover in the mid-70s, with nighttime lows in the 50s. You can type Disney World into the search box at a site like www.weather.com a week or so before your vacation to get the exact forecast for your trip, but it should be warm enough for your family to enjoy a trip to a water park. Even if the air temperatures are cool, the water in the pools and the water parks is heated so that guests can swim all year long.

Unfortunately, Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for refurbishment during your February vacation, but the other water park, Blizzard Beach, will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. (My kids actually prefer Blizzard Beach over Typhoon Lagoon so I bet yours will love this water park too. The Cross Country Creek lazy river at Blizzard Beach is great, and the whole family can ride on a raft together on Teamboat Springs!)

Wishing you a magical and warm February vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're always happy to help!
