Hi, I am going to Disney on Feb. 9th with my husband and 2 year old daughter. I know this may sound like a silly question but I'm not sure what a "hopper" ticket is. We will be there for only 4 days and I don't know what kind of tickets we should

Hi, Maureen!  A hopper ticket basically allows you to go into multiple theme parks on the same day using only one ticket.  This can be especially helpful if you want to go to one park for Extra Magic Hours in the morning, and a different one for Extra Magic Hours at night.  Or if you want to spend the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, but have dinner at the Magic Kingdom to see the Wishes fireworks display, the park hopper passes allows you to do that.

For people with young children - like your daughter - find the park hopper feature very helpful, especially if they'll be taking the child out of the park to go back to their resort to rest a while in the afternoon.  It allows you to return to a different park without using another day's ticket, and it gives you the opportunity on your last day to go back and visit things in the parks that your daughter really enjoyed!
