Going on Disney Fantasy this summer. Can I purchase gift cards on board the ship for my children to use while on board? I do not want to give them charging priviledges on their KTTW cards, but thought the gift cards would give them money for treats, etc.

Welcome aboard, Jana! I think you have a great idea about giving your kids Disney Gift Cards to use onboard instead of letting them have charging privileges on your Key To The World Card. You're in luck because Disney Gift Cards are accepted at many of the shops onboard the Fantasy, so your children can pick out souvenirs that way. Should you have additional Disney Gift Cards, you can take them to Guest Services and ask to have them added to your account to settle any charges you may have.

Last time I was on the ships I don't remember seeing the Disney Gift Cards available for purchase onboard. So, if I were you, I'd purchase a few of them ahead of time, just to be safe. We buy Disney Gift Cards at our grocery store because we get fuel rewards (such as 10 cents off per gallon of gas) when we purchase gift cards there, so that's a great way to save some money and get ready for your cruise at the same time!

Be sure to stop back here with any other questions you think of before you sail on the Fantasy this summer! Have a great week!
