Hi there, we are on the Disney Fantasy in Jan. Can you rent cabanas or anything at Castaway Cay? Also, the last time we cruised, we were told if our almost 3 year old was potty trained they could attend the Oceaneer club with older siblings?

Welcome aboard Susan! January is such a wonderful time to escape from the snow and cold in Minnesota and head south for the warm waters of the Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line!

When your online check-in time opens, you can check to see if there are any available Private Cabanas left to book at Castaway Cay. These are a very popular, so many guests book those right away, and you may find that there are not any left by the time you're able to log in. If you've already sailed with Disney, you're a Silver Castaway Club member and can log in 90 days prior to sailing. Since Gold and Platinum Castaway Club members can book Port Adventures and extras at 105 and 120 days prior to sailing, sometimes the cabanas will be sold out earlier on. But, not all the time! In fact, we sailed earlier this month and there was still one cabana available the week prior to sailing, so you never know! Either way, be sure to log on the first day you're able to begin your check-in, so you have the best chances of renting one! Even without a cabana, there are plenty of chairs, loungers, umbrellas and hammocks where you can set up camp for the day!

The Oceaneer Club and Lab are the fabulous Youth Clubs onboard the ship for kids ages three to 12, and yes, kids must be fully potty trained to play there. Since the Club and Lab are open up to age 12, they're pretty set on making sure that kids younger than three are not in this group, but can certainly book some fun time at It's A Small World Nursery. Another option is to bring the little ones to the Oceaneer Club and Lab during Open House hours, when parents get to stay and play with their kiddos in the clubs, and all ages are welcome during that Open House time! There are a few Open House times throughout each sailing, so check your Personal Navigator for times!

Have so much fun this winter when you set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew, Susan!
