Hi! We are going on the Disney Fantasy cruise ship in October. My 75 year old mother will be going with our family. Will there be any activities especially for her age group?

    Hi Mark!
October is just  a few months away, and I know you looking forward to letting Disney Cruise Line take care of your family's every need during your week long Caribbean cruise!  The Fantasy is an extraordinary vessel that Disney created for Guests of all ages!  My first Disney Cruise was with a group of 15 ranging in age from 1 to 72, and everyone had an absolute blast!  I am confident your mother is going to find plenty to do with all that Disney has to offer on the high seas!  Each day you will receive a daily cruise newsletter, The Personal Navigator.  It will list all the ship's happenings for every age range onboard.  I think your mother might enjoy attending Disney's Art of Entertaining Series.  During these events, the amazing chef's onboard demonstrate how they create some of the divine dishes served in the dining rooms, and it also includes a taste test for those in attendance!  Bingo is always fun as well other game shows such as Family Fusion.  There are lots of shady spots located in the adult areas on Decks 11 and 12 so she can enjoy relaxing by the Quiet Cove Pool or Satellite Falls.  Some sailings offer adult animation classes, classic movie trivia, wine tastings, and informal card play. First run movies are played in the Buena Vista Theatre so your vacation is a great time to catch up on any you haven't seen or want to see again! The nightly entertainment is for all ages, and your family won't want to miss the most talented singers and dancers at sea.  They will perform three Broadway-style shows alternating with the variety acts Disney brings onboard.  If she needs to be pampered, a visit to Senses Spa is another way to enjoy the Disney experience.  There is a wide-variety of treatments that are offered, and it is the perfect way to relax and unwind!
I hope this helps, Mark!  Please let me know if you have further questions about your magical voyage!
