I am on the Disney Fantasy Cruise, flying into MCO the day before, and staying at an offsite MCO area hotel. We have added the Disney shuttle to our reservation. How do we know when to return to MCO to get the shuttle and boarding group?

    Ahoy there, Glen!

How exciting to be making plans for your upcoming Disney Cruise Lince vacation! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

You are wise to purchase Disney Cruise Line ground transfers from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Port Canaveral. Once you board Disney transportation, your vacation begins! You will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line 48 hours before your embarkation day with all the details you will need for the morning of your cruise, including the check-in time and location (usually Side B, Level 1 - Ground Transportation) to meet the Disney motorcoach at the airport. Your Port Arrival Time will be assigned automatically based on your estimated arrival at the port. Typically, Guests using Disney transportation will be allowed to begin portside check-in as soon as they arrive.

Glen, a couple of weeks before your cruise, you will receive your document package, which will include your Disney Cruise Line luggage tags. You will want to attach these tags to the luggage you intend to check on the cruise before you board the motorcoach so these items can be delivered to your stateroom. Do not place the tags on your luggage before this time to keep the tags from getting damaged. Your carry-on bags don't need a Disney Cruise Line tag, but learn from my experience and make sure your name is on them in case you accidentally leave them somewhere on the ship in all the excitement that comes with embarkation day!

You ain't never had a friend like the Disney Fantasy, Glen! I can't wait for you to experience
Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular, one of the amazing evening Broadway-style productions in Walt Disney Theatre. Did you know that composer Alan Menken, who helped to create the original Disney Aladdin soundtrack, wrote a new song just for this Disney Cruise Line production? It gives you an idea of how special this show is!

I hope this information helps you with your planning. Please sail by again anytime with other questions you may have; unlike Genie, we will grant more than three wishes when it comes to planning your Disney vacation!

    Wishing you many magical moments,
    Shannon
