Hello, I am going to Disney with my family March 19th til April 2nd.We realized that Easter is on March 31st this year and now we are worried about park crowds. My question is, when will the crowds start to increase for Easter? Also, any activities listed?

    David,

Great question. As it happens, that is always a busy time, so while crowds will be larger due to the Easter break, they were going to be notable already anyway.

The basic rule for your specific trip based on the days you listed is that your first several days, probably through that first Sunday, will be the notably lighter days of the vacation. The parks will not be empty, but these are certainly days where you want to take in as much of the parks as you can, before the near-capacity crowds start packing into Walt Disney World, in particular at the Magic Kingdom.

If you are planning any non-park days, I would push those to later in your trip. If you can save some of your resort-based breakfasts and dinners to later in the week, I would also recommend pushing them to later in the week.

As for Easter events, I have not seen any listed. But keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for word on some of the Limited Time Magic promotions around that time frame. They could really add some enjoyment to your trip!

    Have a magical vacation!
