I will be at disney for Epcot's 2024 food and wine festival time. Does this mean I can also join in on the festival or is there a separate ticket?

    Hello Alexandria!

We're so glad you stopped by planDisney with a question and I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. As you know, plenty of magic awaits in the form of attractions, entertainment, character experiences, and atmosphere. Whether you're soaking up nostalgia and whimsy at Magic Kingdom Park, enjoying out-of-this-world adventures at Disney's Hollywood Studios, making discoveries at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or savoring the cultural experiences around World Showcase at EPCOT, your standard theme park ticket has you covered. Best of all, your admission includes all the excitement of EPCOT's seasonal festivals!

I'm a big fan of the incredible array of food and beverages at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Last year we saw over 30 Global Marketplaces and even more wine options available for purchase around the park. No matter what flavor profiles you enjoy you'll find something to please your palate. You'll also enjoy live music from a variety of artists as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series without the stress of pre-sale codes or ticket upcharges. Your theme park ticket is your all-access pass to the fun.

I had the chance to talk up all the excitement of the festival from food to music to scavenger hunts with my pal and fellow panelist Jessica B. as part of the planDisney podcast last year. Be sure to check it out as we wait for this year's menus and musical performances to be announced.  I was a few weeks too early for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit last year, but your travel dates should put you in the perfect window to search for those adorable character-themed gourds throughout the park.

I hope this clears up any confusion. If I can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to come back and let me know. In the meantime, stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide as soon as it's available. I'm visiting in early September and already thinking ahead to my culinary tour of World Showcase.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
