We are going to Disney at the end of November. A first trip for everybody. We’ve heard that Iron Chef, Cat Cora will be opening a restaurant where Spoodles is currently. We had planned on making advanced reservations at Spoodles, but would love to dine

    Tracey,

Sorry, but your question got cut off. But to confirm, yes, a new restaurant, called Kuzzina, where Spoodles is currently, should be opening by Fall 2009. This Cat Cora restaurant should be available when you visit.

Obviously I have never been (since it still doesn't exist!) but I plan to visit when I go in September, if it is open. Cat's greek roots should translate to some awesome Greek food, as well as some other great Mediterranean-inspired options.

I recommend you try to get an Advanced Dining Reservation, as you would with any other restaurant during your stay. I imagine it will be added to the program when open. Other recent restaurant openings seem to have been added in just that fashion. As to being included on the Disney Dining Plan, I would not count on it. I would guess that it would be eventually, but restaurants are not always immediately on the plan. So hope for the best, but budget for the extra expense if needed!
