I am going to Disney the end of April w/ 3 kids (3,5,&7). I want to see some type of parade, light show, fireworks but my daughter, the 5 year old is very, very sensitive to loud noises. Any suggestions on what might be our best pick?

    Vikki,

You are wise to plan ahead for this!

I would suggest that you skip Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios, as it can be very intense and upsetting to some children.

Illuminations at Epcot is not especially loud, but there are  few burst of flames and there are brief fireworks at the end which might be troublesome to her.  If you decide to try this show, you might consider viewing from a spot closest to the gate so you can make a speedy exit if need be.

Wishes at the Magic Kingdom is an amazing fireworks show and my favorite night show at Disney.  I can't imagine missing it!  However, like all fireworks there are loud noises.  You can see this show from Main Street, so you could easily walk all the way to the front of the park, right by the exit, and watch from there, to get some space between you and the noise.  You could also exit the park and stand at the top platform of the monorail if you need to get farther away.  Alternatively, consider watching from the beach at the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian.

The parades at all of the parks will have music and dancing, but no sudden loud noises like the nighttime shows.  Another quiet activity you should take in is the Electrical Water Pageant on the Seven Seas Lagoon.  Catch this nightly, viewable from The Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, or Ft. Wilderness Campground.
