It's a pleasure to have you stop by planDisney! That's a great question because I have truly enjoyed the
Disney 100 celebration.
Honestly, there hasn't been an official end date released for the
Disney 100 celebration. We know that our pals at Walt Disney World Resort celebrated their 50th anniversary for around 18 months. The Disney 100 celebration began on January 27, 2023, and the official anniversary date was October 16, 2023. The month of
October held even more magic, merchandise, and even film releases back in the theater.
I was at the
Disneyland Resort today and while the 100th Mickey statue hasn't returned to Main Street, U.S.A. since Halloween Time and Holidays, Minnie is still up between
Pixie Hollow and Tomorrowland's
Astro Orbitor, the 100th interactive medallions are up throughout
Downtown Disney District, and you can still find the
Disney 100 Collectible Medallions throughout the Parks and Downtown Disney. I did notice that many of the Disney 100 food offerings haven't returned after the holiday season, but it just may take some time, or we are both going to be sad if the celebration is quietly saying goodbye.
Well, Deborah, only time will tell (unless we hear otherwise) as to when the celebration officially ends. As of now, there are still visual elements from the Disney 100 celebration sprinkled throughout the Resort. I'd happily wave a magic wand to make sure the celebration lasts through your upcoming visit!
