We will be in Disney during star wars weekend but have no interest in SW. Should we completely avoid HS or could it possibly free up other attractions being star wars stuff is going on

    Denise,

There is nothing wrong with visiting the Hollywood Studios on a Star Wars Weekend, except that it can mean slightly elevated crowd levels. I have never felt that the Star Wars theme overtook the whole park.

On the other hand, I have never felt like it really freed up other areas of the parks to lighter lines, just because the Star Wars events were going on.

However your best strategy is this: If your travel dates allow it, save visiting the Hollywood Studios to a Monday through Wednesday day. You don't get all the added hoopla that you don't care about anyway, and park levels should be back to normal.

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
