I have been to Disney during the Halloween & Christmas seasons, but I would like to see the transformation from one to the other. Is it possible to see Halloween decorations one day and Christmas the next?

You are correct that the Disney transformation from Halloween decorations to Christmas decorations does happen quickly, but it is not exactly an overnight process. The dates for the Halloween and Christmas parties have not yet been released for 2010, so I can't yet tell you exactly what the changeover window will be this year. I can tell you that in 2009, the Halloween parties at the Magic Kingdom ended on November 1 and the Christmas parties started on November 7, so during that interveneing week, there was a significant changeover in decor at the Magic Kingdom.

The Christmas overlay at the other parks and the resorts happens a bit more slowly, you can expect that they will all be decorated by mid-November.

    Good luck with your planning.
