Ahoy, Sandy, and welcome to planDisney! The
Disney Dream has been sailing around Europe and the Mediterranean this summer, including stops at beautiful ports of call in Spain. I'm happy to share some information that may help you plan for shore adventures during your cruise.
If a port of call is listed on the itinerary with an “Ashore” time and an “All Aboard” time, you can typically disembark and explore during that window. You can go sightseeing, grab a bite to eat, or even join an excursion – just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to make it back to the ship before the "All Aboard" time.
With all of that said, I'm not currently seeing
Vigo, Spain shown as a stop for the Disney Dream until the
westbound Transatlantic cruise that departs on September 14, 2026. Vigo is listed on Day 3 of that itinerary, followed by two stops in Portugal before sailing to Florida.
Instead, the August 2026 sailings to Spain on the Disney Dream stop in La Coruña. This historic coastal city has beautiful beaches and incredible landmarks. María Pita Square is a great place to walk around and enjoy lunch.
I'm also seeing Vigo listed as a port of call for
a couple of cruises aboard the
Disney Wish in summer 2027. This enchanting ship will be heading to Europe for the first time next year.
Now, if your cruise has already been booked, you should check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Sign in on the app, tap on your upcoming reservation, and then tap on "My Plans" to see a daily breakdown of your cruise. This is where you can see the "Ashore" and "Aboard" times for the ports of call that I mentioned above.
