We are going on the Disney Dream! We are renting a car to take to and from Port Canveral. Do we take our 2 car seats for our kids with us on the ship or is there somewhere we can store them? Do they count as luggage?

    Ahoy there Michelle!

The Disney Dream is a spectacular ship, and you will be in absolute awe when you catch your first glimpse as you approach the port!  When my family sailed on the Dream last spring, there were squeals of delight in our car at the first sight of this breathtaking vessel!  Seeing the excitement through children's eyes is just magical!

When you arrive at the terminal you will have two options for your car seats.  You can carry them on the ship with you or if you have extra luggage tags, give them to the porter with the rest of your baggage.  Either way, they will be housed in your stateroom during your voyage.  Your stateroom host or hostess will be happy to find the best spot to store them in your room once onboard.  When you disembark the ship, you can tag them and leave them outside your room on the last night with your luggage. You will then pick them up in the cruise terminal the following morning.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!  As one of the Cruise Moms, I'll be glad to answer any other cruise questions you may have before you set sail!

    Have a magical day!
