We are going on the Disney Dream in October with two 14yr old boys and two 16yr old girls. Was wondering if the Blue Lagoon Beach Day is worth considering? We are not looking to go to the Atlantis. Thanks!!

Welcome aboard, Christy! Some guests only think of Atlantis when they consider adventures in Nassau, but there are so many other options on that beautiful island, including the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day.

While I haven't done this one yet myself, we are looking forward to going to Blue Lagoon to swim with the dolphins and then enjoy the beach when we sail this fall too. I've heard great things from other guests about this little piece of paradise in Nassau.

Some of the nice things about this particular Port Adventure are that there are two return times, so you can stay as long or as short as you'd like, and the cost for this adventure is pretty reasonable for everything you will experience. Lunch is included, as are tubes and noodles and other floats. For a small extra fee, your teens can rent paddle boats, water trikes or kayaks, or even participate in a snorkeling tour. There is quite a bit to do, or absolutely nothing at all but enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on the beach if you so choose.

If you're not set on doing an adventure in Nassau, or you don't need an extra beach day since you'll be enjoying Castaway Cay's amazing beach and activities during your cruise too, you might even consider staying on the Dream in Nassau. We've done this at the port and love using that time to relax by the pool when it is less crowded, work on a case with the Midship Detective Agency, or let the kids enjoy the Youth Clubs without so many others. You can always walk off the ship into port and do a bit of morning shopping at the Straw Market for an hour or two, then head back on the ship for the rest of the day.

Stop back with any other questions you might have Christy! I'm happy to help as you continue to plan your fall cruise on the Dream!
