Ahoy, Terri!
Your DREAM-y vacation is so close! Can you already picture yourself lounging on deck enjoying the ocean breeze, greeting Captain Mickey in the lobby atrium and watching the sky illuminate on Pirate Night? You'll be experiencing all of this and more on your Disney Cruise Line vacation very soon!
It's so exciting to think about all the SPOOK-tacular fun your crew will have onboard your
Halloween on the High Seas Cruise. The memories you make will last a lifetime and will bring you so much joy and happiness for "minnie" yEARs to come. On that final morning of your cruise, you can choose the Express Walk-Off option to expedite your disembarkation. Once the local authorities clear the vessel, you'll be free to leave. (This option does require you to carry off your own luggage unassisted instead of putting it outside your stateroom on the last evening.) If you want to be one of the first Guests off the ship, you'll gather in the lobby atrium around 7:15 a.m. with all your belongings so you are ready to go once the gangway opens up. Once you arrive in the lower level of the terminal, you are free to present your family to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection since you do not have any luggage to collect.
Specific debarkation procedure instructions will be left in your stateroom, Terri and you can always ask additional questions to your stateroom host or hostess once you are aboard. (You are not required to let the Crew know if you choose this option.) I always estimate at least 30 minutes for disembarkation, but it could be shorter depending on how many other Guests are participating in Express Walk-Off. General disembarkation will open up as soon as all the Express Walk-Off Guests have departed which will most likely be between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m.
Have a magical time!
