Ahoy Debbie!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you prepare for a
DREAM-y vacation! Before you know it you'll be cruising the Mediterranean and enjoying some amazing ports of call.
Debbie,
Port Adventures available on Disney Cruise Line vacations are wonderful opportunities to explore all that your cruise destinations have to offer while knowing that Disney has done the work for you! I always like booking excursions directly through Disney Cruise Line because I can count on quality experiences and the peace of mind that if anything changes during our cruise or an unexpected hiccup occurs on the excursion, Disney Cruise Line will take care of arrangements for us. With that said,
Port Adventures are operated by independent contractors and not by Disney Cruise Line directly. Given the wide variety of Port Adventures available on your cruise, your best bet would be to
contact Disney Cruise Line with the specific excursions you are considering and ask for more details about the transportation provided for each.
While there is certainly a lot to see off of the ship, you won't want to miss all that the
Disney Dream has to offer guests while you're at sea. My family loves zooming above the pool deck as we ride
AquaDuck and wave to everyone below. Your
rotational dining restaurants will include
Enchanted Garden and
Royal Palace, but my absolute favorite is
Animator's Palate. The decor and imaginative entertainment inside are so much fun whether guests in your party are 1 or 101! While you're there, don't miss the black truffle pasta purseittes - they are delicious! With all of the exploring you'll be doing off the ship, you may want to take some time to relax at
Senses Spa & Salon during your at-sea days. I recommend grabbing a pass for either a single day or the length of your cruise to enjoy the Rainforest Room!
Debbie, I hope you have a wonderful vacation on the Disney Dream and invite you to stop by planDisney again if you have any future vacation planning questions.
Happy Sailing!
