Hi there! We are doing back to back cruises on the Disney Wish this coming August and would like to know if I purchase a 4 night or longer wine package, can I carry it over from our first cruise to the one immediately following.

    Ahoy Nancy!

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm so glad you cruised over to ask your question as you prepare for your upcoming vacation!  Back-to-back cruises on the Disney Wish are the perfect way to experience everything this beautiful ship has to offer, not to mention two amazing stops in paradise - Disney Castaway Cay!

My husband and I love a good bottle of wine at dinner and always pre-order the wine package on our cruises.  You'll enjoy saving a bit over the cost of ordering the bottles individually and there is a nice selection to choose from during your trip.  When ordering, you can choose from a variety of packages that vary in the number of bottles offered and "classic" or "premium" selections.  Since your cruises are technically two separate reservations, you would need to redeem all of your bottles of wine during the cruise in which it was purchased.  However, I confirmed with a Cast Member that you can receive any remaining bottles at the final dinner of your first cruise.  Before disembarking, you can leave those bottles onboard with your luggage to enjoy during the second part of your trip!

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience while onboard, I'd highly recommend checking out one of the adult-exclusive restaurants - Palo Steakhouse or Enchanté on the Disney Wish.  Don't get me wrong, we love the rotational dining and the unique atmospheres of each restaurant included, but these dining experiences are truly next level!  There is an extra charge for the adult-exclusive restaurants and reservations are highly recommended.  Since these restaurants are so popular, I recommend booking as soon as you are able.  If you have young sailors they'll find plenty to entertain them while you enjoy your meal.  We usually take our little ones for a bite to eat on the pool deck and then check them into the appropriate Youth Club.  In fact, the hardest part of the evening is convincing the kids to leave the clubs when we're done eating!

Nancy, I hope this helps you plan for a magical sailing on the Disney Wish this summer.  If you have any other vacation planning questions, feel free to drop anchor here at planDisney again in the future!

    Happy Sailing!
    Kristi
