We are going on the Disney Dream in February and our stateroom is a Category 05B, Deluxe Oceanview with Verandah. Does the stateroom provide an iron to iron our clothes or should we take our own?

    Welcome back, Maria!
Disney Cruise line, as most other cruise lines, does not allow you to have an iron in your stateroom for safety reasons. This could be a major fire hazard. However, I'm happy to tell you that there will be many guest laundry rooms throughout the ship, one probably not far from your room. I've never found a line for the washers and driers or irons that available for use there. The irons are with ironing boards, and are on timers so they don't accidentally get left on and unattended. If you need more time, just turn the knob, it's free of charge to use the irons.

Disney Cruise Line also offers a laundry service that includes washing, dry cleaning or pressing only. Though prices are always subject to change, a 2-piece suit can be dry cleaned for $7.00 or pressed only for $3.50. Prices go down from there based on the article of clothing, down to socks for $1.00 to be washed or 50 cents if you must have them ironed! Hey, who knows, some people might want very crisp socks! Either way, you've got lots of options for having perfectly pressed outfits, right down to your toes, whether you iron them yourself in the guest laundry room or prefer to let DCL take care of the details.

    Have a great cruise, Maria!
